School Fees

Ensuring a quality Catholic education is affordable and accessible for children

There are three levels of annual fees, billed in instalments during Terms 1, 2 and 3:

  • Annual Diocesan Tuition Fees set by the Catholic Education Office
  • Diocesan Building Levy set by the Catholic Education Office
  • School-based fees.

Discounts on Fees

Catholic schools in the Diocese of Parramatta are committed to providing an affordable quality Catholic education for families. We understand the financial demands placed on families and seek to keep the fees as low as possible. No child who meets the enrolment criteria will be refused enrolment or disadvantaged because of a family's financial circumstances.

There are very significant discounts for the second (25% reduction) and third (50% reduction) children enrolled from the one family. There are no fees for the fourth and subsequent children.

If you have children in other Diocesan schools, please click on the Sibling Discount Applicable Schools attachment to see if a discount will be automatically applied.

If any of your children attend a school listed where a sibling advice notice is required, please complete and return the Sibling Registration for Diocesan Tuition Fees form.

Please note that for automatic discounts to apply the residential address on each enrolment form must be the same. It is up to parents to advise schools of other siblings in order to receive the discount. Please note that discounts are not backdated.

Flexible Payment Options

There are a range of options available to assist families WITH THE PAYMENT OF FEES.

No student will be refused enrolment because of a family’s genuine inability to pay fees.

School Fees

What are the school fees?

There are three levels of annual fees to be paid:

  • Diocesan Tuition Fees set by the Catholic Education Office
  • Diocesan Building Levy set by the Catholic Education Office
  • Service fees set by each school.

Sibling Discount on Diocesan Tuition Fees

Sibling discounts apply to Diocesan Tuition Fees payable by a family, where that family is also paying a full Diocesan fee for the eldest sibling. These are included above at 25% discount for the second child, 50% for the third child, and 100% for the fourth and subsequent children. This fee structure applies to all students attending Catholic systemic schools in the Diocese of Parramatta, Archdiocese of Sydney, Diocese of Wollongong, and Diocese of Broken Bay, as well as at St Dominic’s College, Kingswood.

Annual Diocesan Building levy

All families with one or more children in a Parramatta Diocesan school, or at St Dominic's College, Kingswood, are required to pay the annual Diocese of Parramatta Diocesan Building Levy. This levy has replaced the various building levies that parents previously paid to school building funds (managed by either parishes or schools).

The levy for 2016 is $735 per family, payable in three equal instalments of $245 payable in terms one, two and three.

The money collected from the levy is paid into a fund from which building costs and loan repayments for these schools, are paid. The levy is not tax deductible.

Please note: families enrolling a child in other non-systemic schools or systemic schools outside the diocese, may also be required to pay a levy to those schools where they operate their own building fund.

Service fees

There will be some other school fees such as enrolment, resources, subject, excursion, and sports fees. These vary from school to school and are explained at the time of enrolment.

Payment Options

The following methods of payment are acceptable for the settlement of School Fees:
Cash, Cheque or Money Order, EFTPOS, Direct Debit, BPAY, Postbillpay, Centrepay Deductions, and Credit Card (Visa & MasterCard only).

No student will be refused enrolment because of a family’s genuine inability to pay fees.
