The Diocesan Mass for Pope Francis will be held this Sunday, 27 April (the culmination of the Easter Octave) at the 11am Solemn Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta. All are warmly invited to attend, and we ask that you share this news with your parish, school, agency, or ministry networks. Bishop Vincent Long OFM Conv will celebrate the Mass, and all clergy are invited to concelebrate if your Parish Mass schedule allows. The Mass will also be livestreamed on St Patrick’s Cathedral YouTube channel: parracatholic.org/events/diocesan-mass-for-pope-francis/ For anyone wishing to write condolence messages, the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference is organising a condolence book to pass onto the Apostolic Nuncio to Australia, Archbishop Charles Balvo, who was appointed Nuncio by Pope Francis in 2022. Please email your message to condolencebook@catholic.org.au. May he rest in the peace of Christ.

Last week, our Stage 2 students brought the story of Christ's crucifixion to life in our final Holy Week presentation.🙏 With deep reverence they re-enacted this powerful moment in our faith, helping us all to reflect more deeply on the sacrifice and love at the heart of the Easter story.✝️ We are so proud of their maturity, empathy, and the reverent way they approached such a meaningful part of our Holy Week journey. Thank you to all who supported and attended this special event.💕 #sacrecheartmountdruitt #CSPD #GoodFriday2025

Last week, our Year 6 students beautifully acted out the scene of Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane.🙏 Through quiet moments and powerful words, they helped us reflect on Jesus’ courage, His deep trust in God, and His great love for us all — even when He was feeling afraid and alone. We are so proud of their thoughtful and reverent performance. What a special way to journey through Holy Week together.💕

Thank You! A heartfelt thank you to our generous community for supporting our CARITAS outreach during this Lenten season. Through your kindness and participation in our Water Walk 💦 and St Patrick’s Day ☘️ mufti day, we were able to raise $722 to support the vital work of CARITAS🙏 These initiatives helped us reflect on the challenges faced by others and reminded us of the power of compassion, solidarity, and community. Your generosity makes a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Thank you for walking this Lenten journey with us and for living out the Gospel through action.💕 #caritas #CSPD #sacredheartmountdruitt #thewaterwalk
